Zapp Hall is a historic dance hall located in Warrenton, Texas off State Highway 237, between La Grange and Brenham. It is owned by the Bud Evans family and is notorious for smile-evoking antics, including Big Al's Free Beer Stand, Cheryl's Famous Apron Dance, and the occasional all-night tent soiree set to the tunes of Texas' Singing Cowboy, Todd Fritsch.
The turn-of-the-century dance hall is the home of the biannual Zapp Hall Antiques Show that runs in conjunction with the World Famous Roundtop Antiques Week, which has been featured in numerous magazines, including Country Home, Mary Engelbreit's Home Companion, and Country Living.
This is the mother of all antique shows. It is a must-do for all antiquers, junkers, and road trippers. Not only are the antiques unparalleled but the soul of the show is uplifting and inspiring. The Gypsyville crew considers it the highlight of the year.
Not only will you find crumbling grandeur, decadent antiques, scrumptious home décor, and fabulous garden pieces, but you will find funky roadside treasures, unique clothing and one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces.

The evenings are magical at Zapp. Sangrias are served at twilight in the Gypsyville tent with the Junk Gypsy crew. Under sparkling chandeliers and twinkling stars you will be able to visit with kindred spirits and add friends to your ever-expanding book of life.
Nightly Zapp Hall will host Texas bands and serve fabulous food under a big top circus-style tent. This is a place where time stands still while you dance under the Texas moon. Memories are made, creativity is inspired, and lifelong friendships are cultivated.
Great music can also be heard on the front porch of one of our favorite beer joints in Texas, Third Base in Warrenton. Here you can walk through old screen doors, shuffle across wooden floors, and under the glow of neon signs you can drink some of the coldest beer in Texas. So put on your dancing shoes and get ready to dance the night away with the infamous Carney Queens.
We cannot say enough about this show! It is a must-do, don't miss, unforgettable experience! So bring your friends, or come alone and make new ones, you won't regret the trip!
(The Gypsyville tent, in conjunction with the Junk Gypsy Crew, is located on the highway immediately to the left of the Zapp House and the Diamond Shamrock - which serves some of the best gas station sandwiches in the state, but be patient. . . they don't get in a hurry.)
